CRISELDA G. PAZ

Criselda G. Paz, 53, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Rosary will be at 7:00p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Eldorado. Mass will be at 2:00 pm Friday, April 9, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Eldorado with Father Joseph Vathalloor, officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Criselda was born February 20, 1957 in Pecos, Texas to Ambrosio and Virginia (Melendez) Garcia. She graduated from Midland College and Angelo State University (both with cum laude) and then graduated from the University of Texas Law School where she was in the Law Review. She also was the attorney for the Diocese of San Angelo. Survivors include her daughters, Natalie Paz of San Angelo; Caitlin Paz of San Angelo; son, Benigno Paz III of San Angelo; parents, Ambrosio and Virginia Garcia of Pecos; and sisters, Sylvia Belman of Eldorado; Norma Arvizu of Houston; and Myra Michaelis of Orange, TX., and one brother, Benjamin Garcia of St. Anthony, Idaho; and the father of her children, Benigno Paz of San Angelo.
