Curtiss Eugene Bargley

Curtiss Eugene Bargley, 59, of San Angelo passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his residence. A wake will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, March 13, 2015 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Paul Baptist Church with Dr. Fredd Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Delta Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Curtiss was born on November 2, 1955 to Curtiss Sr. and Ophelia (Norris) Bargley in Detroit, Michigan. He married Donna Renee Clark on July 15, 1978 in San Angelo. He attended Central High School and Angelo State University and worked for Verizon until he retired after 34 years of service. In his spare time, he volunteered his services to his family. Curtiss is preceded in death by his father, Curtiss Bargley Sr.; and a brother, Marlon Joe Bargley. He is survived by his wife, Donna Renee Bargley of San Angelo; mother, Ophelia Bargley of San Angelo; daughter, Kim Bargley-Jackson of San Angelo; granddaughters, Toni Ray, Alexis Jackson, and a grandson, Kristopher Jackson all of San Angelo; sisters, Janice Dupree of Denver, CO; Linda Greenwood of San Angelo; Sebrina Ann Bargley of San Angelo; Charlotte Lewis of San Angelo; and Detra Anderson of Gary, IN; also a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Shannon Medical Center, Hospice of San Angelo, and all the family and friends.
