CYNTHIA "CINDY" BROOKS OWEN

Cynthia "Cindy" Brooks Owen, 56, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, December 07, 2005 at her residence. Family visitation will be held at 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the Lake View Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Stine officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Cindy was born July 6, 1949 in San Angelo, to Dillard Farmer and Christine Brooks. Cindy's father raised her to live by the "Golden Rule". She always looked for only the good in people and she never saw any faults. Her strong will and constant positive attitude inspired many people throughout her battle with cancer. Cindy said after she was gone that she wanted everyone to, "lunch and laugh and have a good time. I will party with you. Do not cry for I am with family and rejoicing in our meeting again". She was preceded in death by her father Dillard Brooks and brother Bill Brooks.
