Cynthia Ann Keeney Semmelmann, 62, passed away May 10, 2005 in Pasadena, Texas after valiantly fighting re-occurring menigiomas of the brain for the past eleven years through surgeries and radiation. A Celebration Service was held 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 13 at Deer Park First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 16, 2005 at Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Larry Shotwell officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Cindy was a native of San Angelo, graduating from Central High School in 1960. She then went to The University of Texas in Austin where she majored in Interior Design, graduating in 1964. Her talent in interior design can be seen in many homes in Deer Park. Cindy lived in Deer Park for over 40 years where she and her husband raised their family. Cindy was an active member of Deer Park First Baptist Church, where she worked many years in the mother's day out and nursery department sharing her love in nurturing of the lives of small children. She was preceded in death by father, Gene Keeney and Auntie Pete Price, both of San Angelo; grandmother Keena and granddad Charlie Keeney; Granny and Granddad Price. She is survived by her husband, Frank Semmelmann of Deer Park, Texas; children, Mark and wife Susan Semmelmann of Decatur, Texas; Heidi and husband, Clint Zuber of Spring Branch, Texas; Michael and wife, Micah Semmelmann of Round Rock, Texas. 9 grandchildren, Madeleine, Emily-Anne and Marcus Semmelmann, Zachary, Jacob, Kirk and Lance Zuber, Malea and Mason who is due in July, her mother, Ruth Keeney and brother Gene and sister-in-law Holly, and special friend J.W. and Karen Henson all of San Angelo. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends who also survive her. The family is especially grateful to her surgeon Dr. Richard Harper and his staff for prolonging her quality of life for years.
