Daniel R. Delgado, 90, reached his final goal to "dwell in the house of the Lord forever", Monday, April, 30, 2018, in San Angelo. Prayer services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel and funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 4, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Israel Flores, pastor of Bethel Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Delgado was born February 1, 1928 in Brady to Magdaleno and Cecilia Delgado. He married Pauline Martinez on July 9, 1950 in Garden City, Kansas. He has been a resident of San Angelo since 1951. Daniel was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He was a LVN, working at San Angelo State School for 15 years retiring in 1995. Daniel was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God, where he was very active from teaching to Royal Rangers. He loved to play the piano and guitar. He was very loving to his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Delgado of the home; two sons, Noel Delgado and wife Sheree and James Ray Delgado all of San Angelo; a daughter, Delma Guadarrama and husband Johnny of San Angelo; seven grandchildren, Julia, Sarah, Emily, Sophia, Martin, Ann and Zeke; seven great grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Andres, Samantha, Hannah, Mia and Ellarose.
