Daniel Michael Hinshaw

Daniel "Danny" Michael Hinshaw, 61, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at San Angelo Community Medical Center with his family by his side. Danny was born on February 24th, 1952 in Midland, TX to Stephen Curtis "Curt" and Dorothy Mae (Heaton) Hinshaw. After graduating from Midland High School in 1970, Danny worked for M System and Albertsons grocery stores where he made many lifelong friends and was well-liked by his employees. Danny enjoyed BBQ's, spending time with family and friends, and watching Midland High football. Danny is survived by his children, Kevin and wife Katie Hinshaw, Patrick Hinshaw, and Daniel Hinshaw; grandchildren Emily Hinshaw, Braden Hinshaw, and Riley Jaxon Hinshaw; sisters Patty and husband Jerry Roper, Frankie and husband Keith Phillips; nephews David Phillips, Carson Phillips, Eric Roper, Jeff Roper, and Joe Roper. Danny was preceded in death by his parents Curt and Dorothy Hinshaw; and brothers Mark Hinshaw and Steve Hinshaw. A Rosary and Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Midland, TX at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Burial will follow the funeral at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
