DANIEL I. RANDEZ

Daniel I. Randez, 80, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Craig Meyers with St. Paul's Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Daniel was born June 4, 1926 in Del Rio to Willie and Carmen Randez. Daniel was a WWII Army Veteran. He married Maria DeLeon on December 21, 1946 in Del Rio. In his younger years, Daniel worked for Southern Pacific Railroad in Del Rio and later drove a school bus for the Del Rio ISD. Daniel's greatest enjoyment was being surrounded by his family and friends. His love and memory will be in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, six younger siblings, one sister Otila Moncibias and one brother Willie Randez Jr. He is survived by his wife, Maria Randez of San Angelo; six daughters, Maria Adamson of New York City, Carmen Enriquez of Del Rio, Delia Diaz and husband, Daniel of San Angelo, Irma Lopez and husband, Fred of Del Rio, Diana Codrick of Norfolk, Virginia and Ana Miglio and husband Charles of Phoenix, Arizona; four sons Daniel Randez Jr and wife, Sandra of Del Rio, Joe Louis Randez, Richard Randez both of San Angelo and Robert "Bobby" Randez and wife, Alma of Laredo; three sisters Ofelia Trejo of Rotan, Olivia Randez and Olga Randez both of Abilene; two brothers Arturo Randez of San Jose, CA and Ernesto Randez and wife, Teresa of Hermleigh, TX; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Daniel Randez III, Joe Randez, Robert Randez, Richard Randez, Nicolas Vargas and Freddy Enriquez Jr. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Hospice of San Angelo for all the gentle and loving care given to Mr. Randez.
