Darwin Leon Willis

Darwin Leon Willis, 73, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at a local nursing home. There are no scheduled services at this time. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Leon was born on June 14, 1939 in Brownfield, TX to Leo and Lucille (Burnett) Willis. He attended college at ASU in San Angelo. Leon served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Dorthy Jolly on May 28, 1972 in Brownfield where he and Dorthy had a cotton farm. Leon was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, L. G. Willis. He is survived by his wife Dorthy "Dee" Willis of San Angelo; step-daughter Debra McFail and husband, Boyd of Anchorage, AK; step-son Bradley Fitzgerald of Iowa Park; grandson Mark McFail of Austin and granddaughter, Brandi of Toledo, OH; brother Kenneth Willis of Brownfield; brother Larry Willis of Springdale, AR and a sister Marylin Smith of Lubbock; numerous nieces and nephews.
