David Lozano Trevino Jr., age 84 entered the gates of Heaven on June 30, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.
Public viewing will be on Tuesday, July 6th from 12PM until 8PM at Robert Massie Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday in the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 7th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the US Army. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
David was born on December 1, 1936, in Kerrville, Texas to David C. and Librada "Lilly" Trevino.
He married the love of his life, Elida Reyes on June 18, 1955, in San Angelo. David enlisted in the US Army in 1959 and honorably served his country until 1965.
David worked at the Goodyear Testing Facility for 28 ½ years, from 1972 retiring in 1998.
He served his Lord and community well and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, The Texas Veterans for Veterans, and the North Side Lion's Club.
David was preceded in death by his parents, David C., and Lilly Trevino; his father and mother-in-law, Gregorio and Emilia Morales; his brothers Arcadio and Adam Trevino; and a sister Bessie Reyes.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Elida; two brothers, Alfonso Trevino and his wife Patsy and Armando Trevino and his wife Margaret; and by a sister, Lisa Trevino all of San Angelo; by his nephews, Danny Trevino and his wife Carol of Ft. Worth, George Trevino and his wife Lorena of Tomball, Texas, and Johnny Trevino and his wife Carla of San Angelo; his niece Eva Castillo and her husband Armando of Round Rock, Texas; several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family would like to thank each of their friends, neighbors, nurses, and physicians that showed love to the family and cared for David throughout his illness.
