DENNIS GARY WALDEN

Dennis Gary Walden, 63, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at his residence. He now rests in the loving arms of the Jesus our Lord. Dennis was born on December 9, 1947 to Cloise and Doris (Holt) Walden in Morencia, Arizona. He graduated from Andrews High School and joined the United States Air Force following high school. He retired in 1987. He then worked for the Army Air Force Exchange Service at Goodfellow Air Force Base. He married Deborah Reeh on October 2, 1993 in San Angelo. He was a member of the American Air Force Association, American Legion, an active member of the Holy Angels Knights of Columbus, and ACTS community. A visitation will start at 4:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at Holy Angel's Catholic Church with Father Charles Greenwell officiating. Inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Fredericksburg, TX with full Military Honors. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Lane Carter, Blake Hartsfield, Jude Richard, Bruce Brundrett, Dale Potter and Joshua Reeh all of San Angelo. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Deborah; son, Joshua Reeh of San Angelo; mother-in-law, Genevieve Reeh of San Angelo; sister, Sandra Walden of Andrews; aunts and uncles, Don and Sammy Holt of Prescott, Arizona; David and Fran Holt of Maryland; James and Jo Holt of Cisco; brother-in-law, Donnie and Linda Reeh of Fredericksburg; sister-in-law, Janie Reeh of Austin; and Judy and Steve Durst also of Fredericksburg. In lieu of flowers please make donation to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
