DON YATES MITCHELL

Don Y. Mitchell, 69, of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at his residence. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2006 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Mike Andress of Hospice of San Angelo officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Don was born August 30, 1937 in Seminole, Oklahoma to A.Y. and Lucy Mitchell. He was an Army Veteran. Don worked as Area Superintendent for Oryx Energy Company for numerous years. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Patrick Mitchell, brother J.A. Mitchell and sister Peggy Branch. Survivors are his wife Kay Mitchell of San Angelo; son Robert Mitchell and wife, Karla; sister JoAnn Brininstool; grandson Drew Mitchell, granddaughter Kaitlin Mitchell and special nephew Mitchell and T.J. Brinintstool. The family extends their appreciation and special thanks to Joe Dodd and Leon Kennedy; also Ninfa, Mary, Janet and all of Hospice of San Angelo for their care, love, and support given to Don and family. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of San Angelo.
