Donald James Collier Donald James Collier, 84, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at a local nursing home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Harold Watkins of Freedom Fellowship Church. Burial will be private. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Don was born in Denver, CO on February 13, 1929. He served his country in the U. S. Navy and the U. S. Marine Corps for over twelve years. Don married Helen Taft on July 15, 1956 in Ventura, CA. Don's greatest loves in life were his Lord Jesus Christ, his wife Helen and family. He was a faithful servant of the Lord. Don is survived by his wife, Helen Collier of San Angelo; daughter Donna Evans and husband, Mike of Eads, TN; daughter Karen Durost and husband, Ken of Lancaster, CA; son John Collier of Corvallis, OR; son Jeffrey Collier and wife, Michele of Cathedral City, CA; son James Collier and wife Dianne of Santa Clara, CA; daughter Diane Davis and husband, Brad of Brainerd, MN; son Damon Collier and wife, Angela of Valencia, CA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers go to The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to nurses and staff of Meadow Creek Nursing Home. Helen would like to personally thank the nurses and aides on the North Floor.
