DORA MAE WAYHAM

Dora Mae Wayham, 88, of San Angelo passed away Monday, September 24, 2007 at Sagecrest, where she resided for the last six years. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Larry Shotwell, First Baptist Church, and Harry Matthews, Glen Meadows Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Dora Mae was born September 15, 1919 in Laurel, Mississippi to Bruce and Dora Mae Round. She was a registered nurse, working in this field for over 45 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert "Bob" Brown Wayham; six brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter Dr. Sandra Roberts of Kissimmee, Florida; Bruce Wayham and wife, Terri of San Angelo; grandchildren Greg Roberts of Kissimmee, Florida, Erin Vaught and her husband, Matt of San Angelo, Texas, Casey Blair, and her husband Todd of Burnet, Texas, Brek Wayham and his wife, Louise of Fort Lee, Virginia; great-grandchildren Lindy Vaught; Gage, Hattie, Gunner and Grayson Blair; and Jasmine Wayham. The family wishes to express their thanks to Wes Wells, Sheila Knox, Debbie Davis and their excellent team of caregivers at Sagecrest. Memorials may be given to the Green Houses at Sagecrest Alzheimer's Care Center or to Adult Day Care.
