Dorothy Hartmann Hartman Hunt 91, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend passed away Monday September 19, at her new home in Bronte surrounded by family. She was a member of the Lakeview United Methodist Church. Visitation will be all day Thursday September 22, 2011 at Robert Massie funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM to receive friends. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday September 23, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Hospice of San Angelo Chaplain Nancy York, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Memorials in Dorothy's memory may be given to Hospice of San Angelo at P.O. Box 471 San Angelo, Texas 76902 or to a charity of your choice. Dorothy was born December 23, 1919 in Fredericksburg, Texas, and was the second child of 10 children born to Emil & Erna Hartmann. She grew up on the family farm, and when as a young woman met and married Clarence Hartman, and they celebrated 43 years together. They started their family in Fredericksburg, and soon moved to San Angelo, where they raised their five children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence Hartman, son Joe Hartman, and her second husband John Hunt. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Burns & husband James, son, Robert Hartman & wife Marlena, daughter, Gayle Hensley & husband Charlie, daughter, Carolyn Knight & husband Jimmy; daughter-in-law, Mary Hartman; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a large extended family; John Hunt's family, Joe & Linda Hunt, Skipper & Linda Hunt, Jerry Don Hunt, Carolyn & Eddy Cornelius and a host of friends.
