Dorothy Ingham peacefully passed away at the age of 102, on Monday, April 16, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. Dorothy the daughter of pioneer ranching family; Manley "Bud" and Mary Alice "Mamie" Holmes was born on August 9, 1915, in Rankin, Texas. Dorothy married Dudley Ingham, son of Crockett County ranchers, B.B. "Ben" Ingham and Frankie Dudley Ingham, on May 13, 1940 in Ozona, Texas. She spent her life in the ranching business and caring for her family. Dorothy was a member of Sheffield Methodist Church and later the First United Methodist Church of San Angelo. Dorothy enjoyed church services, reading, playing the piano, making Christmas stockings for her children and grandchildren, traveling, painting and sharing family history. Dorothy was well known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents; Manley and Mary Alice Holmes, husband, Dudley Ingham, daughter, Betty Deland, grandsons, David Deland, Eric Stanley and nine brothers and sisters. Dorothy is survived by daughter, Dottie Barker and husband, Ron; son, David Ingham and wife, Joan; grandson, Jim Deland and wife, Tricia; granddaughter, Debbie Ramirez and husband, Felix; grandson, Mark Stanley; granddaughter, Janelle Clark and husband, Brent; granddaughter, Melody Griffin; son-in-law, Earl Deland; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews and great-nephews. Viewing will be held from 10:00am to 8:00pm, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel.
