DOROTHY JO MCADA JOHNSON

Dorothy Jo (McAda) Johnson, 61, of Menard passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Shannon Medical Center. Dorothy was born on October 8, 1948 in Delhi, LA to Wright Chester and Lottie Alyene (Mefford) McAda-Murr. She married Jackie 'œDavid'� Johnson on July 1, 1966 in Menard, Texas and was a food service supervisor for Menard Manor for many years. Services will be held in Menard at a later date. She was preceded in death by her father, W.C. McAda; grandparents, Bill and Velma Mefford; step-father, Jack Castleman; aunts, Tiny Willmon and Lela Wingrove; mother-in-law, Marie Johnson; sister-in-law, Sandy Johnson and niece, Julie Johnson. Dorothy is survived by her husband, David Johnson; mother, Alyene McAda-Murr and husband Orvil; son, Jack 'œBubba'� Johnson all of Menard; daughter, Bonnie DeHoyos and husband Phillip; son, Charlie Johnson; daughter, Amanda Johnson and husband Jarrod all of Sonora; God children, Connie Baker and Dorothy Jean Aguirre of Menard; grandchildren, Ashley, Ashton, Paige, Harley, April, Phillip, Hailey Nicole, and Lottie; aunt, Lorine Johnson and husband Bert of Longview; uncle, William T. Mefford and wife Sammy of Eddy; father-in-law, Jack Johnson and brother-in-law, Terry Johnson and wife Belinda of Menard; sister-in-law, Margaret Beyer; brother-in-law, Donnie Johnson of San Angelo; brother-in-law, Tony Johnson and wife Cathy of Christoval; sister-in-law, Joyce Freeman and husband Sammy of Llano; nephews, Tommy Beyer and wife Kelly of Harper; Jay Beyer and wife Cecilia of Miles and numerous other nieces and nephews.
