DOROTHY JEAN McCORMICK

Dorothy Jean McCormick, 79, of San Angelo went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at her residence in San Angelo. Dorothy Jean was born on January 28, 1931 to Blair and Isabell Weyant Crissman in Bedford, Penn. She married Howard Andy 'œCoony'� McCormick on April 12, 1950 in Cumberland, MD and worked for Park Plaza nursing home as a Food supervisor for over 28 years in San Angelo, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, April 12, 2010 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor J. T. Tucker, Chaplain of Vista Care Hospice officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Gregg Underwood and the staff at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Dakotah McCormick, Jerry Lara, Corey McCormick, Kevin Waddell, Rob McCormick and Johnny Calvert. She is preceded in death by her husband, parent'™s, one sister and a grandson. Survivors include her son, Phillip McCormick and wife DeAnn of San Angelo, Tx, Landis McCormick of Ft. Stockton, Tx, Robert McCormick and wife Susan of Robert Lee, Tx; daughters, Kay Mixon of San Angelo, Tx and Dianne Jackson of Mesquite, Tx.; four sisters and one brother,; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.; special friend Jerry Lara.
