Dwayne Deemer, 63, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 16, 2018, in San Angelo, Texas. At Dwayne's request there will not be any service. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Deemer was born November 5, 1954, in Edmond, Oklahoma, to his parents Eugene "Gene" and Elmeta Deemer. The couple and boys moved to San Angelo shortly thereafter, where Dwayne lived the rest of his life. Dwayne spent his early years in a loving home with his parents and two brothers, and he attended Lakeview High School. He was also very close with his grandparents, Deb and Ethel. As a young man, Dwayne worked as a plumber's helper, then a plumber, and then a licensed Master Plumber, and ran Deemer Plumbing in San Angelo for many years. Dwayne was a strong and generous man, a perfectionist in his work, and he had a hearty, mischievous sense of humor that he took after his Granddad, who is also his namesake, Delbert "Deb" Herring. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed by his family, and many, many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Dusty, and his parents Gene Deemer and Elmeta Herring-Meeks. Dwayne is survived by two brothers, Darrell Deemer and wife Sherry, of McKinney and Dennis Deemer and wife Lena, of San Angelo; along with many nieces and nephews.
