Jim was preceded in death by his father, Paul, mother, Maydee, and brother, Paul. Jim will always be remembered for being a fixture of Mereta and for his easy-going personality, humility, invariable sense of humor and love of antique Winchester shotguns. His first priority was always spending time with his family. Arrangements will be made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held by Minister William Rosser at Lawnhaven Cemetary on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 2:00 PM. Honorary pallbearers include Raymond Meacham, Arthur Martinez, Larry Wilde, RJ Rivas, Paul Smith, Henry Gonzales, Alfred Dela Garza and Gary Glass.
