Edgar Roy Chapman, 81 of San Angelo died Saturday April 9, 2011 at an area nursing home. Family Visitation is 2-5 pm on Monday April 10, 2011 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Tuesday April 11, 2011 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Laura Mae; his his two sons; Kelly Merritt Chapman and Edgar Roy Chapman Jr. and a brother, Ray Chapman. Survivors include his wife; Cathryn Chapman of San Angelo; son; James Chapman of Stephenville, daughter; Viola Chapman of Sweetwater, three sisters; Irene Tyler of Ganado, TX, Linda Blakeney of Port Lavaca and Ruth Cummings of Severna Park, MD.
