EDNA ELLA CHRISTIANSEN ROGERS

Edna Ella Christiansen Rogers, 88, of Garden City, passed away Monday, May 09, 2005 in Garden City. Family visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mr. Don Mitchell with the Church of Christ of Midland officiating. Burial will follow at the Miles Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Edna was born July 30, 1916 in Giddings, TX to Alvin and Ella Christiansen. She graduated from Eola ISD in 1936. Ella was a seamstress and worked for R.G. Barry of San Angelo for numerous years. She made a lot of friends and was dear to all. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Odell Christiansen and one sister Lillian Wright. Survivors are: Daughter:Delores Smith and husband, Wayne Of Burleson Sister:Ruby Sanders Of Columbus, NM Grandchildren:Debroah Pelzel and husband, Steve Of Garden City Dr. Monte Allen and wife, Amy Of Laredo Russell Smith Of Dallas Barry Smith and wife, Sandi Of Burleson Great-grandchilden:Heidi Haigood and husband, Wesley Colby Pelzel, T.J. Pelzel, Christopher Smith, Marcus Smith, Kevin Smith, Katy Allen, Travis Allen and Austin Allen. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Memorials may be made to Hospice of choice.
