Eduardo P. Saenz Jr.

Eduardo P. Saenz, Jr., 66, of San Angelo, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1949 to Eduardo and Elena (Luna) Saenz in Del Rio, TX. Eduardo retired from TxDOT after 32 years of faithful service. He served in the US Marines during the Vietnam Conflict with the 1st Marine Division in Da-Nang. Some of his favorite hobbies were traditional archery, trail biking, running, barbequing, spending time outdoors and traveling throughout Texas to visit his family. Eduardo is survived by his two sons, Jimmy E. Saenz of San Antonio, Hector L. Saenz of San Angelo; daughter, Laurie S. Guerrero of San Angelo; mother, Elena L. Saenz of Del Rio; two brothers, Richard Saenz of Del Rio; Joaquin Saenz of San Antonio; five sisters, Edna Saenz of Del Rio; Elsa Martinez of San Antonio; Patricia S. Chapa of San Antonio; Rachel S. Trejo of San Antonio; Graciela S. Piehl of Vacaville, CA; six grandsons, Christopher R. Saenz of Hondo, TX, Jacob N. Saenz of Hondo, TX, Alonzo Vargas of San Angelo; Orlando Vargas of San Angelo; Hector L. Saenz, Jr. of San Angelo; Nathan Ybarra of San Angelo; three granddaughters, Alynah S. Saenz of Eldorado; Audrey N. Saenz of Del Rio; Alexis Saenz of Del Rio and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by father, Eduardo P Saenz, Sr. and brother, Bobby Saenz. Visitation will be held 10:00am to 2:00pm on Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015, 3:00pm at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Jose Flores, officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
