Edward William Dietz

Edward William Dietz was born in San Angelo on December 8, 1937. He passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. His parents were William Edward and Mary (Enriquez) Dietz. Edward worked for Abel Transfer and Storage before retiring. Edward had a big heart and loved to help people. He would go out of his way to help anyone he could. He will be missed by his family, neighbors, friends and anyone that knew him. Edward was preceded in death by his first wife, Hope Dietz and daughter Sylvia. Edward is survived by his wife, Leonor Dietz; son, Edward (Eddie) Dietz; sister, Mary Garcia; brother, Fred Dietz, Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews; along with special niece Rosie Montano. Edward spent the last 10yrs of his life taking care of his ailing wife. Rosary service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, May 1st at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 2nd at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Fr. Lorenzo Hatch officiating. Burial will follow in Belvedere Memorial Park under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
