EILEEN COX

Eileen Cox, a long time resident of San Angelo passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home in the Royal Estates Assisted Living facility. She was a longtime member of the First Christian church on North Oakes in San Angelo. Eileen was a University of Texas graduate and a schoolteacher for forty years. She taught math at Glenn Jr. High where she will be remembered by many former students and faculty. She volunteered with the Shannon Auxiliary for many years and leaves many friends there also. She is survived by her sisters; Marjorie Cox and Lou Cox Majek and her brothers; Phillip K. Cox and J. Donald Cox. Services will be held at the Robert Massie Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM Wednesday February 3, 2010. The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Shannon Auxiliary at Shannon Hospital at 120 E. Harris Ave. San Angelo, Texas 76903.
