Eldred Dennis Skaren, 64 of San Angelo died Friday, May 27, 2005 at an area hospital. Family Visitation will be 5:30pm to 6:30pm Monday May 30, 2005 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Tuesday May 31, 2005 at Miles Cemetery with Phil Webber, pastor of Baptist Temple, officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Dennis was born June 7, 1940 in Ida County, Iowa to Eldred Vincent and Dorothy Riley Skaren. He married Martha Flood on June 23, 1963 in San Angelo and this year would have been their 42nd anniversary. He graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Dennis was a Vietnam veteran and proudly served in the United States Air Force retiring after 20 years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 570 and enjoyed volunteering in the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association for over 20 years, which he dearly loved. Dennis and his wife Martha ran the "The Garage Sale Store" for many years; he also enjoyed raising cattle and goats. Dennis was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and one sister, Joyce Mc Donaugh He is survived by his wife, Martha Skaren of San Angelo; Two daughters, Terri Rimer and her husband, Charlie of Midland and Tammie Urbantke and her husband, Jeff of San Angelo; Grandchildren; Kyle, Megan and Derek Rimer of Midland and Jared and Alyssa Urbantke of San Angelo, two sisters, Ardis Brownlee and her husband, Jim; Colleen Johnson and a brother, Eddie Skaren and his wife, Marilyn, all of Iowa. One sister-in-law, Nancy Book and her husband, John of Miles, and many nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends
