Elizabeth F. Garcia

Elizabeth F. Garcia, 82, of San Antonio, passed away on December 5, 2014 at the home of her daughter in San Antonio, TX. Rosary will be 6pm Sunday December 7, 2014 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Monday December 8, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. She was born on November 19, 1932 to Anastacio and Felipa (Villanueva) Flores in San Angelo, TX. Elizabeth worked as OB-GYN nurse for Shannon Medical Center, was Director of Planned Parenthood and a Head Start nurse. On March 6, 1949 she married Sabino Garcia in Avondale, AZ. She was a member of Southside Lions Club - Lioness, Concho Pearls Lion Club - President, St. Mary Catholic Church Morning Glories and Parish Life, an ACTS Retreat Director. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, and a son Charles Garcia. Elizabeth is survived by her loving children; Linda and husband, Ray Moya of San Antonio, George Richard and wife, Annabella Garcia, Elizabeth and husband, Ruben Garza, Robert and wife, Arlene Garcia, all of San Angelo; grandchildren are Tracy and Mike Deuel, George Richard Jr., Christina and Christopher Garcia, Louie, Stephen and Oscar Ornelas, Melisa and Cameron Dudley, Anne and Rene´ Fernandez, Marina and Gabriel Llanas and Jesse Garcia; great grandchildren are Dylan and Aubrey Carson, Tyler Grey and Riley Woodard, Jordan Fernandez Tambunga, Josie and Chris Llanas; brothers, Daniel and Ben Flores.
