Elsa Garcia, of San Angelo passed away on September 23, 2018 in Overland Park, KS. Public viewing will start at 10:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2018, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Prayer Services will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Freedom Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. A luncheon will be held at Freedom Fellowship Church following the services. Elsa was born in San Angelo to Maria and Antolin Zapata on February 6, 1959. She married Alfredo Garcia on November 25, 1974 . Her greatest joy was being a wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Elsa Garcia is preceded in death by her parents Antolin and Maria Zapata, and siblings Antolin J. and John P. Zapata. Elsa is survived by her husband Alfredo Garcia, her children Alfredo Jr., Esteban, Katrina, John Matthew, and her siblings Ruben, Gloria, Connie, Joe, Jesse, Dannie, and her grandchildren Stephanie, Jesus, Monique, Jacob, Justin, Mackenzie, Damian, Nadia, Alec, Joseph, Natalia, and Julianna.
