ELTON EMMITT ALLISON

Elton Emmitt Allison, 83, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005 in a local hospital. Family visitation will be held 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Roger Roenfeldt officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Elton was born April 3, 1921 in Rule, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmitt and Carlie Allison and his wife Blanche Margaret Allison, brothers' Norris Allison, Lynnis Allison and Audie Allison. Daddy was a very loving and giving person to all that knew him and will be missed greatly. Elton is survived by his daughter Gloria Neal and husband, Jim of San Angelo,Son Wayne Allison and his wife, Linda of Sulphur Springs, TX, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, two brother's Arlie Allison of Nederland, TX and Elvis Allison of Humble, TX. Elton is also survived by the mother of their children, Vera Lavern Teague and very special friend Marie Massengill. Mr. Allison served his country in the Navy during WWII and received an Honorable discharge. A military honor guard will be present at the service. The family would like to express a special thank you to Melanie Cox, Roger Roenfeldt, the volunteers at Vista Care Hospice and the Doctors and Nurses of Angelo Community Hospital, for their endless hours of love and caring of Mr. Allison in his last days.
