Emma "Frances"� Rogers, 91, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 4th. She was surrounded by her loved ones who held her hands as she took the hand of Jesus. Visitation will be at Robert Massie Funeral home Friday, November 5th and Saturday, November 6th from 10-2. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 6th in the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers include Myron Shirley, Reuben Montez, Bobby Featherston, and Glen Shirley. She was born in Estancia, New Mexico on January 21, 1919 to John Jerome and Minnie Hollebeke and later moved with them to Texas, settling in the San Angelo area. She was one of 4 children. She met the love of her life William "Woody"�Rogers and married him on March 20th, 1937. Using the "play house"� next to her parents home, she and Woody built their home in which they lived for the rest of their lives. She was a homemaker and mother to three children, and she was "Nanny" to all. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Woody, her parents Jerome and Minnie, her siblings Bill Hollebeke, Floyd Hollebeke, and Lottie Trease; and granddaughter Brenda Atchisson. Nanny will be always be loved and greatly missed by her three children Darlene Pollard and husband Deloy of Kingsville, TX; Royce Rogers and wife Sandy of San Angelo; Roger Rogers and wife Cathy of San Angelo; her 9 grandchildren: Vickie Yount and husband Dana of Yuma, AZ; Denise Rogers of Tucson, AZ; Mike Rogers and wife Kristy of Keller, TX; Stacy Dillon of San Angelo; LeAnne Rogers of San Angelo; Carey Peacock and husband Bill of San Angelo; Bobby Featherston of Corpus Christi, TX; and Cheryl Featherston of Bastrop, TX. Nanny was also blessed with 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, with an 8th due in December. She had numerous nieces and nephews, including a very special niece Connie Alley who always made sure her hair was done just right. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to donate to your favorite charity in Nanny's honor.
