Enrique Hernandez

Enrique "Hank" Hernandez, 85, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2024.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 10. 2024 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with rosary being said at 6:00 PM. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Cathedral Church of the Sacred Heart with Monsignor Larry Droll officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Hernandez was born on May 22, 1939 in McFaddin to Pedro and Gabriella Garza Hernandez. Hank graduated from Victoria High School in 1961. He joined the U.S. Air Force serving at Naval Air Station Key West, Homestead Air Reserve, Mac Dill Airforce Base, Offutt Air Force Base, and Goodfellow Air Force Base. Hank retired in 1982. After retirement he was a Civilian Contractor supervisor. Hank enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing scratch off lottery and keeping the house in shape. He married Eva Sanchez on June 8, 1963 in San Angelo.

Hank is survived by his wife, Eva of the home; three sons, Rick Hernandez of San Angelo, Eduardo Hernandez of San Antonio, and Chris Hernandez of Austin; two sisters, Ofie Holter of Austin and Mary Julia Villafranco of Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
