ERNEST LEE SCHMALZRIED

Ernest Lee Schmalzried, Sr., age 81, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Medical Center of McKinney. Family visitation will be held prior to service 9:00-11:00, Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Ernest was born January 3, 1926 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Edward Schmalzried and Lillian Wolfbrandt. He married Jeanne Vallet June 1945 at East St. Louis, Illinois and she preceded him in death December 9, 1974. He is survived by three sons, Charles Schmalzried and wife, Beth of Carrollton, Texas; Steven Schmalzried and wife, Becky of spring, Texas; Ernest Schmalzaried and wife Jayme of Plano, Texas; one brother, Edward Schmalzried and wife, Norma of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
