EUELL G. HARTMAN

Euell G. Hartman, 80, of San Angelo, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in a local hospital. A Military Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Harriett Cemetery with Father Tom Barley of St. Ambrose Catholic Church officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Hartman was born February 21, 1925 in Winters, TX to Lester and Nellie Hartman. He was a World War II Veteran and joined the US Navy in 1943 serving on the USS Maryland. He married Mary Holmes and settled in Texas and worked for the Railroad, later retired and worked for SAISD as a School Crossing Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Curtis, three sisters, Bonnie Guililand, Barbara Holmes, Rena Varnadore, and one grandson, Thomas Matthew Daniel. Survivors are: Wife:Mary J. Hartman Of San Angelo Two daughters:Sandi Strawn and husband, Anthony Of Burkett, TX Cathy Carter and husband, Sam Of Miles Three sons:Lester Hartman and wife, Joni Of Sweetwater Gary Hartman Of Sweetwater Ronnie Hartman and wife, Debbie Of San Angelo One sister:Fredda McCormick Of Lubbock Sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Bobby Steele, Heath Steele, Billy Bob Steele, Lance Hartman, Marty Daniel, Brad Hartman, Timothy Hartman, Blake Hartman, Mike Carter and Paul Sanders. The family gives a special "Thank You" to the people at the Heritage House Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Mr. Hartman. Memorials may be made to West Texas Boys Ranch or a favorite charity.
