EULOGIA “JUNE” MARTINEZ

Eulogia "June" Martinez, age 83, of San Angelo passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Belvedere Memorial Park. Eulogia was born in Floresville, TX on March 11, 1925 to Abelino and Juanita (Reyes) San Miguel. She married Julio Martinez in Eola, TX on August 19, 1939. June enjoyed working for Ethicon for over 36 years before her retirement. Julio preceded her in death on September 19, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Olivia Zamora. June is survived by her daughter, Zoila Castro; son, Julio Daniel Martinez, Jr. both of San Angelo; daughter, Yolanda Popple of Connecticut; sister, Grace Lopez; brother, Abelino San Miguel, Jr.; son-in-law Domingo Zamora all of San Angelo; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Gorski, Martin Sifuentes III, Michael Williamson, James Lewis, Richard Castro and Ricky Castro.
