EVA LAURA MITCHELL

Eva Laura Mitchell, age 43, of San Angelo passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at her residence. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Abel Fernandez officiating. Mass services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Rodney White officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Eva was born on December 20, 1966 in Houston, TX to Francisco and Oralia Mendoza. She worked in Human Resources for Tom Green County. Eva is survived by her parents, Francisco and Oralia Mendoza of San Angelo; sons, Kevin Scott Mitchell and Josha Matthew Mitchell both of San Angelo; brother, Arthur Duncan and wife, Cynthia of San Angelo; sister, Darlene Duncan and husband, Orvel of Breckenridge, TX; brother, James Edward Mendoza and wife, Susie of Bartlesville, OK; sister, Jennifer Mendoza and husband, Luke Ortiz; brother, Francisco Mendoza, Jr. and wife, Claudia; grandparents, Lucio and Julia Mendoza; grandson, Jeremiah Cuellar Mitchell all of San Angelo and numerous nieces and nephews. COME TO ME God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, 'œCome to Me.'� With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away, and although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Memorials may be made to the Tom Green County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
