EVA DURAN ORNELAS

Eva Duran Ornelas 69, of San Angelo passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 at her residence. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Resurrections will be held at 9:00 AM, Monday, August 21, 2006 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Quirino Cornejo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Eva was born June 25, 1937 in San Angelo to Juan and Maria Garza. She married Joe Ornelas on July 21, 1985 in San Angelo. She enjoyed cooking for the kids. She will be missed dearly by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Oscar Garza, Roberto Garza and one daughter Ernestina Mejia. She is survived by her husband, Joe Ornelas of San Angelo, four sons Ernest J. Duran and wife, Lisa of Stephenville; Andres Duran of Phoenix; Gilbert Duran and wife, Maria of El Paso; Jerome Duran of San Angelo; two daughters Sophia Gradillas and husband, Paul; Lisa Cordova and husband, Frank all of Phoenix; five brothers Samuel Garza and wife, Yolanda; Ignacio Garza all of San Angelo; Juan Garza and wife, Edna of San Diego; Clemente Garza and wife, Elois; Jose Garza and wife, Rhonda all of Phoenix; one sister Felicita Armenta of San Angelo; eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ernie Duran III, Ray Garza, Paul Gradillas Jr., Nachito Garza, Conrad Duran and Mikeal Garza. The family extends their sincere appreciation to Hospice of San Angelo and Dr. Peter Chang for the wonderful care given to Eva.
