EVALYN PENTECOST

Evalyn Pentecost, age 74, of San Angelo passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at a local hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Mike Chancellor of Abilene officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Evalyn was born on August 15, 1933 in Muse, Oklahoma to Marvin and Madge Sanders. She was a co-owner of New Beginnings Christian Book Store. Evalyn is survived by daughter, Becky Lee and husband, Mike of San Angelo; son, Robert Moehnke and wife, Lucienda of Aubrey, TX; daughter, Paula Brooks and husband, Steven of Maryville, TN; granddaughters, Amy Wood and husband, Michael of San Angelo; Melissa Lee of San Angelo; Shalise Moehnke of Aubrey, TX; Laura Brooks, Kelly Brooks, Kim Brooks; grandson, Russell Brooks of Maryville, TN; great-grandchildren, Mason, Austin and Lauren Wood of San Angelo; the father of her children Marvin Moehnke of San Angelo; sister, Virginia Talley and husband, Roy of San Angelo; brother, Marvin Sanders and wife, Pat of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Doris Collins of Brady, TX; brother, Paul Sanders and wife, Lana of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Shannon 5 North and Dr. John Harvey MD for the loving care given to our Mom.
