Everett Clinton Fowler, Jr.

Everett "Mule" Clinton Fowler, Jr., 75, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, in San Angelo.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Due to the current health crisis in our community and the directives given by State and Local Governments we are requiring all attendees to wear a mask. Mr. Fowler was born January 30, 1945, in Natchez, Mississippi. Everett has been a resident of San Angelo since 1983. He married Erna "Bitsie" Turner on September 20, 1984, in San Angelo. Everett was a pumper for Getty Oil Co. later becoming Texaco for most of his life. He enjoyed traveling, and working with his hands, fixing up cars.

Survivors include his wife Bitsie of the home; four daughters, Cindy Lewis of Natchez, Mississippi, Christy Correa and husband Jeff of Canyon Lake, Amanda Galyean and husband Bobby of San Angelo, and Elizabeth Pineiro and husband Michael of San Angelo; two sons, Nathan Fowler and wife Donna of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and James Fowler of San Angelo; a sister, Carolyn Woolsey and husband David of Hobbs, New Mexico; a brother, Joe Fowler and wife Betty of Sun City; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Chris Lewis April 15, 2020.
