FLAVIA R. ORNELAS

Flavia Ornelas, 78, of San Angelo, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at her residence. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 30, 2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Terry Brenon officiating. Burial will follow at Knickerbocker Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Flavia was born May 7, 1926 in Lockhart, TX to Pedro and Petra Rodriguez. She was a homemaker and took great pride in being a stay at home Mom. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife to the late Jesus M. Ornelas. Our Dear Mom, Grandmom, Sister is now rejoicing with God our Father. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jesus M. Ornelas, two brothers and a great-grandson. Survivors are: One son:Felipe Ornelas and wife, Enriqueta Of San Angelo One daughter: Patricia Rios and husband, Ruben Of San Angelo Two Brothers: Salomon Rodriguez of Dallas Carmelo Rodriquez of San Angelo Two Sisters:Carlota Garza of Houston Delphina Serrano of Lockhart Six Grandchildren: Felipe Ornelas, Jessie Ornelas Ruben Rios, Jr., Ricky Rios Angela Ornelas and Beba Sanchez All of San Angelo Seven Great-grandchildren Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. The family requests that Memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund and would like to give a special thanks to Vista Care Hospice, West Texas Renal, Dr. Jurado and to Dr. Montoya. A very special Thanks to her nephew Frank Lucio and wife, Rosa; and care givers Yolanda Pruitt and Diana Ayala. Adios Ama y Adios Abuela.
