Freddy M. Kelly Sr.

Freddy M. Kelly, 82, of San Angelo, passed October 17, 2014 in San Angelo. He was born on June 9, 1932 to Joe and Maggie Kelly. He attended Blackshear School and ASU. Freddy worked as a Police Officer for SAPD for 29 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Retired Police Officer's Association. On March 8, 1965 he married Bettie Jones. To this union four children were born. Freddy is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Bettie, sons, Freddy M. Kelly Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, and Darryl K. Kelly of Los Angeles, CA, daughters, Feleisha M. Kelly, and Lafonda E. Prophet both of Houston, brothers, Benjamin F. Kelly of San Angelo and James A. Kelly of Inglewood, CA. and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014, 11:00 am at the St. Paul Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jeremy Walker, officiating. Burial will be in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
