Gabriel Moreno Ruiz

Gabriel Moreno Ruiz, Sr., 41, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in Odessa, Texas.

Public viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 26, 2021 at The House of Jireh, 1414 N. Chadbourne, San Angelo, Texas 76903. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Gabriel was born June 26, 1979 in San Angelo. Gabriel was a Central High School graduate and was a proud Bobcat. Gabriel married Brenda Oliden on June 29, 2002 in San Angelo, Texas. He was a devout father and husband. He was a caring son and a loving brother. Gabriel was a minister of music at Lifehouse Fellowship Church in Midland, Texas. His desire was to worship God through music and inspire those who shared his love of music. He leaves behind many “brothers” who shared the stage with him. Gabriel worked at Republic Services as a route auditor and driver for 18 years and built beautiful relationships with his coworkers. His childhood home was in San Angelo, Texas but he resided in Odessa, Texas with his family for 9 years. He loved traveling with his family and loved to entertain his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ruiz, his son, Gabriel Ruiz, Jr; his daughter, Miranda Ruiz; his mother, Elida Ruiz, and his sister, Patricia Ruiz. Gabriel has aunts, uncles, and cousins in Texas and California. Gabriel recently lost his father, Manuel Ruiz on January 3, 2021.
