George "Butch" Till, 63, of Midland, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at a Midland Hospital. Butch was born on January 24, 1952 to T. J. and Katherine (Kelly) Till in Ozona, TX. He graduated high school at Mertzon and attended ASU. Butch married his lifelong partner, Sharon Edwards on November 20, 1970 in San Angelo. Butch and Sharon lived in Midland, where he worked as a Completions Superintendant for Encana Oil & Gas. Butch was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and playing golf while enjoying a cold beverage. He loved spending time with his family, friends and co-workers. Butch will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by parents, T. J. and Katherine Till. Butch is survived by his loving spouse of 45 years, Sharon Till, daughter, Sherry Haggerton, granddaughter, Kaylie and husband, Brandon Jennings all of Midland, grandson, Kyle Roark of Longmont, CO, granddaughter, Kirstie and husband, Chase Lindsey of Tom Ball, TX, grandson, Colton Roark of Llano, great-grandson, Payton Jennings of Midland, great-granddaughter, Presleigh Lindsey of Tom Ball, TX, brother, James Till of Rock Spring, TX, sister, Jane Stracner of San Angelo, sister, Bobbie Stueler of Junction along with several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 10:00 am at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Mike Hamilton, officiating.
