GLADYS WILLIAMS

Gladys Williams, 93, of San Angelo passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 in a nursing home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. James Mitchell with the Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be held at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Gladys was born August 14, 1914 in Hagler, Arkansas to James and Willie Brewer. She married Austin Williams, July 24, 1947 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death December 31, 1985. She worked for McGowen's Catering for over forty years and was well known for her delicious homemade bread. Gladys was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist church for over forty years. Gladys is survived by her daughter-in-law Edna Williams; one brother Earnest Brewer; grandchildren Pam McClure, Beverly Hart, Randy Hart, James Hart, Jeff Hart, Frank Williams, Ronnie Williams, Floyd Williams and Judy Homer; one special great-granddaughter, Shawna Kunselman, who brought such comfort in the last few months; 22 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Conrad McClure, Jeff Hart, Bryan McClure, Travis Hart, Randy McGowen and Kelly McGowen.
