Glenn Howard Von Willer, 81, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2005. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 5, at the Harris Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Monday officiating with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Howard was born in Indianapolis to William and Clara Von Willer on February 14, 1924. He attended public schools there. Later, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force and served in World War II as a flight pilot. He worked five years for Montgomery-Ward and 33 years for Hemphill-Wells. He was a deacon for his church and family and lived the Golden Rule. His parents preceded him in death and by an infant daughter Pamela Kay Von Willer. Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anitra Jean; one son Michael Von Willer and wife, Glenda Rae of San Angelo; one daughter Cindy Cole and Andy of San Angelo; one brotherBob Von Willer of San Diego, CA; one sister Marjorie Edwards of Naperville, IL; six grandchildren, Glenn Ray Von Willer, Tanya Clawson and husband, Joseph, Brandon Von Willer and wife, Rachel, Dennis Von Willer and wife, Jamie, Amy Jean Cole and Lauren Kay Cole; five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Arley Wheat, Don Daniels, Brandon Von Willer, Dennis Von Willer, Glenn Ray Von Willer and Marlin Weaver.
