Mrs. Box was born on August 7, 1931, in Rotan to Alonzo Lewis Masters and Ida Pearl Weems Masters. She was raised on the family farm in Fisher County. She graduated from high school in Roby in 1947 and went on to attend Hardin Simmons University where she graduated in 1948 as a Registered Nurse. Glenna met the love of her life, Lee Oren Box, Jr., a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army, and the two married in January 1955. After settling in San Angelo, Glenna and Lee purchased a small business in July 1972 called Equipment and Repair where they worked with their young son and others to grow the company. In 1973, the company moved to a larger facility and was renamed E&R Supply. Glenna worked side by side with her husband in the family business until her retirement in 2014. E&R Supply is still in business today in the same location with Lee continuing to run the operation. Glenna became a grandmother in March 2004, to grandson Colby Cash Box.
