GLORIA J. MONTELONGO

Gloria Montelongo, 74, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008 peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Gloria was born on July 9, 1934 in San Angelo. Service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Robert Massie Funeral Home at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest following the service at Belvedere Memorial Park. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Reyes and Juanita Montelongo and her brother Bobby Montelongo. Gloria is survived by her brothers, Felipe and wife Florencia Montelongo, Antonio Montelongo, Paul and wife Eunice Montelongo, and Moses Montelongo, her sister's Faye Aguirre, Rebecca and husband Ignacio Hernandez, Connie and husband Ramon Lozano and Delia and husband Javier Fernandez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved her like a mother. She will be greatly missed by many. Pallbearers will be Joel Fernandez, Billy Hernandez, Edward Montelongo, Anthony Hernandez, Jacob Fernandez, Ryan Markham, Robert Montelongo, and Paul Daniel Montelongo. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew and Emily Hernandez, Morgan, Jordan and Jaydan Fernandez, Jonathan and Michaela Lewton and the remainder of Gloria's nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Demory, Dr. McCloy and the staff at Shannon Medical Center for their care and concern.
