GREENVILLE "HANK" SMITH

Greeneville "Hank" Smith, 76, of Mertzon passed away Thursday, June 22, 2006 in Big Lake Care Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Mertzon Cemetery. Mike Andress will be the officiating chaplain. Hank was born October 19, 1929 in Menard, Texas. He married Priscilla Sullivan on May 18, 1963. Priscilla passed away on November 28, 1983. Hank began his service in the United States Navy on May 16, 1962. Later in life he became a plat operator in the oil field. Survivors are: two daughters Mary Louise Woodard of Alamogordo,NM and Deborah L. Anderson of San Angelo; one son Clyde Randal Smith of Abilene; three sisters Cora Boys of Wilmington, Delaware, Betty Monette of Brownwood and Janie Dyson of Barnhart; three brothers Benny Smith and Billy Smith both of Grapecreek and Duwain Smith of San Angelo. There are four grandchildren and twelve great-granchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made Hospice of San Angelo.
