Guadalupe "Lupe" I. Biera, 63, of San Angelo, passed away on July 12, 2016 at his residence. Lupe was born on June 28, 1953 to Raul and Carolina (Contreras) Biera in San Angelo. Lupe worked as a land surveyor in the petroleum industry. He developed a lifelong love of music at an early age and eventually joined a band where he played the drums. One of his favorite things to do was go night fishing with friends and enjoying just being outdoors. Lupe was very devoted to his family and with a strong sense of how to raise a close family, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolina Biera and a daughter, Beatrice Biera. Lupe is survived by two daughters, Bianca Duran of Odessa; Sylina Sanchez of San Angelo; son, Armando Ramirez of San Angelo; father, Raul Biera of San Angelo; two sisters, Adela Kin of Garland, Bertha Balcom of San Angelo; brother, Joe Biera of San Angelo; three granddaughters, Belinda Duran of Odessa, Brianna Duran of San Angelo, Micayla Duran of Odessa and grandson, Chon Moya of San Angelo along with 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rosary service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel led by Dorothy Ochoa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 15, 2016, at the Brentwood Family Fellowship with Pastor Buddy Helms, officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
