Guadalupe Valdez

Guadalupe "Lupe" Valdez, 67, of San Angelo passed away Saturday March 2, 2024 in Lubbock.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM- 8:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 11, 2024 at Belvedere Cemetery with Antonio and Maria Lucio, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Lupe Valdez was born on September 25, 1956 in Lubbock to Alberto and Manuela Carrillo Lopez. She married Paul Valdez in 1979 and they had two children, Lutricia and Paul, Jr. Lupe worked at Troy Dry Cleaners for a number of years. Her family describes her as a beautiful person who was energetic, friendly, and always smiling. She enjoyed watching wrestling and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her sister, MaryLou Rivera.

Her survivors include her husband, Paul Valdez; two children, Lutricia Valdez and Paul Valdez, Jr. both of Sn Angelo; seven siblings, Tony Lopez and wife Julia of Pasedena, Frank Lopez and wife Cruz of San Angelo, Eddie Lopez of San Angelo, Rosalinda Lopez of San Antonio Gloria Lopez of San Angelo, Hector Rivera and wife Dominique of San Angelo, Elsa Juarez and husband Ignacio; three grandchildren, Mickayla Navarro stationed in England, Christian Navarro of San Angelo, and Elena Valdez of Christoval.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Lopez, Frank Lopez, Tony Lopez, Hector Rivera, Joe Bijarro and Christian Navarro.
