Gwendolyn Marie Stone

Gwendolyn Malone Stone, 78, of San Angelo departed this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow in Delta Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stone was born on November 1, 1944 in San Angelo to Charlie Malone and Dorothy Berry Malone. She accepted Christ at an early age. Gwendolyn attended Blackshear Elementary School in San Angelo. She worked in the nursing field throughout her life. Gwendolyn married Levern Hardin, to that union was 7 children. Later in life she married her late husband, Sidney Lee Stone. Gwendolyn enjoyed dancing, cooking for other people, casinos and playing bingo. She also enjoyed taking her niece and nephews with her when she traveled. Gwendolyn enjoyed all the holidays.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Malone and Dorothy Berry Malone; husband, Sidney Lee Stone; ex-husband, Levern Hardin, Sr.; three Children, Gladys Hardin, Douglas Hardin, and Carl Hardin, brother, Charles Malone; and sister, Dineance Fleeks.

Gwendolyn is survived by her four children, Vincent Hardin, Levern Hardin jr., Pearl Hardin, and Sara Hardin; Brother, LeRoy McWilliams; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; special friend/sister, Jerlin Walker; her companion, Henry Maberry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gwendolyn will be remembered as a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, and friend
