Harold W. "Dick" Dickerson Harold W. "Dick" Dickerson passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007. He was born September 29, 1920 in San Antonio, Texas. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie, his older brother, George, his first wife, Dorothy Davenport, his son, Keith Alan and step-daughter, Lynda Lawrence. Dick is survived by a daughter, Dale Ann Moon and his brother, Durward Dickerson, step-children Deanna and Randy Morrell, Guy and Diane Yancey, Jan and Ken Scott, Scott and Christi Yancey with many grandchildren and step grandchildren. Dick graduated from Texas A & M College in 1943 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a registered professional engineer and practiced engineering until he formed a utilities contracting business with his father and brothers. He was in business for many years in San Antonio. His first wife passed away in 1971. He married Doris Ethel Yancey in 1978. They lived in San Antonio until 1988 then moved to San Angelo. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and played golf for many years with a group of hustlers at Riverside Golf Club. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Ricky Burk officiating. Dick will be buried at Mission Burial Park North in San Antonio, Texas. Arrangements by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
